Our Staff and Students perform professionally on stage, film, TV and video. You’ve seen them on Broadway (in White Christmas, 42nd Street and Radio City Rockettes) Internationally (Riverdance, Young Frankenstein), locally, at the Taft Theatre, Corbett Theatre, Commonwealth Theatre, Showboat Majestic, Aronoff, and CCM. You’ve seen them on TV in Taking the Stage and other shows.
About the Owners
Ms. Tracey and John Burgoon (Mr. B) have been married for almost 30 years and live in Delhi. Their son, Sean is a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force and lives with his wife, Jess, in New Mexico. Their daughter, Ms. Maddie, works for The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati and can be seen in many productions around the city (see her bio) Ms. Tracey works for DAV as the Director of DM Fundraising and Mr. B works for Rough Bros as the Commercial Division Manager. Ms. Tracey has been teaching dance for over 30 years, including Seton High School, Xavier University, SCPA (guest teacher) and many studios. She is also Board Member and an adjudicator for SCAU Unlimited. She is a National Team coordinator and choreographer, as well as teaches ballet, tap, musical theatre, jazz, leaps and turns and hip hop. Mr. B manages the Revere operations and is CPP (Chief Prop Pop).
Connie Smith - Connie is the first face you see and has been working at Revere since they opened. She owns a collision body shop on the east side of town and managed the operations for over 20 years. She now lives in Delhi and enjoys watching her granddaughter, Zoe for her son, Dustin. Connie is originally from Northern Kentucky and is Ms. Tracey’s cousin. Connie loves dance, so much that she took clogging and Zumba. Connie travels with the national team, goes to the student’s school and professional performances and is always there for anyone.
Meet the Teachers
Ms. KATE BOGGS – Miss Kate has been teaching for Revere for 6 years. She teaches ballet, tap, contemporary and lyrical. Kate also choreographs for our National Team at all levels. Kate graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s prestigious College Conservatory of Music and was in the Lexington and Cincinnati Ballet Companies. Kate also served on the dance faculty at Northern Kentucky University and has adjudicated for a number of dance and cheer organizations. Ms. Kate and her husband, Ryan, reside in Ft. Thomas with their four children, including Ms.Logan and Austen, who is a member of the All Star Dance Team.
Ms. JESSIE APPLING – Ms. Jessie has been teaching for Revere for 5 years and is a choreographer for our National Team. She teaches Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theatre and Tap. In addition to her dance training at several studios in Cincinnati, Jessie trains extensively to participate in marathons and competitions, such as Tough Mudder. While earning her degree in Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati, Jessie was a member of the UC Dance Team at Raymond Walters.
Ms. BETHANY GRAVINA BREEDEN – This is Bethany’s 6th season with Revere teaching ballet, Musical Theatre, contemporary, tap and Jazz. Bethany also choreographs for our National Team, including Solos, duets, Junior TNT and Small Groups. She is also the Director of Dance at C.O. Harrison in Oak Hills School District and Harrison Schools. Ms. Bethany and her husband, Chris, own Arnold’s in downtown Cincinnati and enjoy travelling all over the US, entertaining us with their unusual finds and must-sees in the country. Bethany had her formal training at AVO and was a member of the Oak Hills Dance Team.
Ms. JENNY BROXTERMAN - I am extremely excited to begin my 7th year teaching at Revere Dance Studio! I am also a teacher at Oak Hills High School and a proud mom of 4 children; Bailey, Casey, Colin, and Brayden. My husband Jon and I live with our family in Delhi. I have danced since the age of 2, starting out in local studios, then on my high school and college dance team, and then for some semi-professional sports teams. I have choreographed for the Florida Citrus/Capital One Bowl, taught summer dance camps, coached area dance teams at the elementary and high school level, and judged for various dance competition circuits. But right now I just love enjoying my little 3, 4, and 5 year olds and seeing their excitement as I get to teach tap, ballet, and pom each week
Ms. MADDIE BURGOON – Maddie has been performing with TCTC since the age of 11. Her favorite performances include Peter Pan (Tiger Lily), Madagascar (Rico), Pinocchio (Viola), Santa’s Toy Factory (Carol), Snow White (Tapper), and The Day Before Christmas. Other regional credits include Nuncrackers, Lincoln: a Pioneer Tale, Bible: the Book of Genesis and Rock of Ages. She has also appeared in Seussical (JoJo), South Pacific (Nurse Cora McRae), The Wedding Singer and Les Miserable. Maddie has won choreography awards for Revere Dance Studio and The Studio for Dance and her students have been national champions. She has also choreographed productions of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, How to Succeed in Business and Beauty and the Beast in which she won an Orchid Award for Choreography. Maddie has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the NKU School of the Arts and is working on her Masters in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky. She is the Assistant to the Artistic Director with The Children's Theatre of Cincinati and the Star Cabaret Coordinator as well as faculty member of the TCTC STAR Program. Maddie has traveled the country to train with Jason Samuel Smith, Chloe Arnold, Brenda Buffalino, Randy Skinner, Lady Di Walker and many more.

Ms. KATIE HUMPHRIES – Katie has been teaching for Revere for 5 years and is a choreographer for our Mini TNT and National Teams. She teaches Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theatre and Tap. Katie’s choreography has won several awards, including numerous championships with her solos, small groups and Mini TNT teams. Katie has danced for several dance studios in Cincinnati, earning group and solo awards along the way. While earning her degree in Business Administration at Northern Kentucky University, Katie was a member of the NKU Dance Team, travelling across the country for training and participating in the College National Championships in Orlando, FL.
Ms. ANGELA KAHLE - Performing credits include playing the role of Phyllis in the Broadway and 1st National Tour of 42nd Street. She also played the role of Rita in White Christmas, directed by the Tony Award winning Walter Bobbie and choreographed by the Tony Award nominated Randy Skinner. Her proudest achievement has been kicking her legs as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall and across the country for ten seasons. Angela earned a B.F.A. from Wright State. Locally, she has taught and/or choreographed for Wright State, SCPA, and The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. Angela is the resident emcee and Director for Applause Talent Presentations. In addition to teaching for Revere, she will be an adjunct professor for Wright State University for the school year.
Ms. LOGAN SIMONS – Logan has been teaching for Revere for 2 years and choreographing for 4. She previously taught in Lexington, KY, while she was attending the University of Kentucky, earning her BS in Physical Therapy. She teaches ballet and tap. She also choreographs for our National Team at all levels. Logan herself is a national champion tapper! Ms. Logan works for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and is working towards her Masters. Logan has traveled to New York and Chicago to train with Randy Skinner, Jason Samuel-Smith, Lady Di Walker, amongst others.
MS. MADDIE O'SHAUGHNESSY - This is Ms. Mo's first year as a teacher at Revere. Mo attends the University of Cincinnati and assists with our National Hip Hop Team, as well as teaches our pre-school classes and choreographs for our Hip Hop Team in Training.
MS. SAVANNA MORGAN - Ms. Savanna is one of our teaching assistants. Was a member of the National Champion All Star dance team and currently attends Cincinnati State majoring in primary education.
MR. SCOTT NEAL - Mr. Scott has a BA in Film Directing from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. He has been performing since the age of 12 on the profession stage and his favorite roles include The Music Man (Harold Hill), Santa's Toy Factory, Rudolph. He has won many national championships with his duet partner, Ms. Maddie. Scott teaches Musical Theater and private lessons, as well as classes at Sayler Park Elementary.
