Our Staff and Students perform professionally on stage, film, TV and video. You’ve seen them locally, at the Taft Theatre, Corbett Theatre, Commonwealth Theatre, Landmark Productions, Aronoff, and CCM. You’ve seen them on TV in Taking the Stage and other shows.
ABOUT THE OWNERS
Ms. Tracey and John Burgoon (Mr. B) have been married for over 30 years and live in Hidden Valley, IN. Ms. Tracey works for DAV as the Chief Development Officer and Mr. B works for Nisbet Brower as a Vice President of Operations. Ms. Tracey has been teaching dance for over 35 years, including Seton High School, Xavier University, Cincinnati's School for Creative and Performing Arts (guest teacher) and many studios. She is a board member of Camp Corral for children of fallen and wounded military. She is a National Team Director and choreographer. Mr. B manages the Revere operations and is CPP (Chief Propfather). Their daughter, Maddie is also a teacher.
OFFICE MANAGERS
Connie Smith - Connie is the first face you see and has been working at Revere since they opened. She owns a collision body shop on the east side of town and managed the operations for over 20 years. She now lives in Delhi and enjoys watching her granddaughter, Zoe for her son, Dustin. Connie is originally from Northern Kentucky and is Ms. Tracey’s cousin. Connie loves dance, so much that she took clogging and Zumba. Connie travels with the national team, goes to the student’s school and professional performances and is always there for anyone.
MEET OUR TEACHERS
KATE BOGGS – Miss Kate has been teaching for Revere from the beginning. She teaches ballet, tap, contemporary and lyrical. Kate also choreographs for our National Team at all levels. Kate graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s prestigious College Conservatory of Music and was in the Lexington and Cincinnati Ballet Companies. Kate also served on the dance faculty at Northern Kentucky University and has adjudicated for a number of dance and cheer organizations. Ms. Kate and her husband, Ryan, reside in Newport with their four children, including teacher, Logan and Austen, a UK student.
BETHANY GRAVINA BREEDEN – Since we opened Bethany has been teaching ballet, Musical Theatre, contemporary, tap and Jazz. She also choreographs for our National Team, including Solos, duets, Junior TNT and Small Groups. Ms. Bethany and her husband, Chris, own Arnold’s in downtown Cincinnati and enjoy travelling all over the US, entertaining us with their unusual finds and must-sees in the country. Bethany had her formal training at AVO and was a member of the Oak Hills Dance Team. They live in Bellevue with their daughter, Meadow.
JENNY BROXTERMAN - Jenny has been with the studio since we opened. She is also a teacher at Oak Hills High School and a proud mom of 4 children; Bailey (UC Dance Team), Casey (Seton Varsity Dance), Colin, and Brayden. She and her husband, Jon live with their family in Delhi. She have danced since the age of 2, starting out in local studios, then Captain of Seton Varsity Dance Team and Xavier University Dance Team, as well as semi-professional sports teams. She has choreographed for the Florida Citrus/Capital One Bowl, taught summer dance camps, coached area dance teams at the elementary and high school level, and judged for various dance competition circuits. She teaches are Team in Training class, as well as 2, 3, 4, and 5 year olds and seeing their excitement as I get to teach tap and ballet.
KATIE STEVENS – Katie has been teaching for Revere for over 10 years and is a choreographer for our National Teams and team manager. She teaches Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theatre and Tap. Katie’s choreography has won several awards, including numerous championships with her solos, small groups and Mini TNT teams. Katie has danced for several dance studios in Cincinnati, earning group and solo awards along the way. While earning her degree in Business Administration at Northern Kentucky University, Katie was a member of the NKU Dance Team, travelling across the country for training and participating in the College National Championships in Orlando, FL. Katie and her husband, Mack, reside in White Oak with their daughter, Callie.
MADDIE JONES – Ms. Maddie has been teaching for Revere since opening. She is a nationally recognized dancer and choreographer for musical theatre, tap, hip hop and contemporary dance. Ms. Maddie is also the Associate Artistic Director of The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, the Musical Theatre Director of SCPA and has been performing professionally since the age of 11. She has most recently been the director and choreographer of The Spongebob Musical. Maddie has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Northern Kentucky University's School of the Arts and earned her Masters Degree in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky. She is married to actor and SCPA Drama teacher, James Jones. They reside in Sayler Park with their daughter, Sayler.
MADDIE O'SHAUGHNESSY - This is Ms. Mo's sixth year as a teacher at Revere. She was also part of our National Team which competed in the Tri-County area and in Nationals around the country. Mo graduated from the University of Cincinnati where she will receive her degree in Business. She works fulltime for DAV, as the Donor Stewardship supervisor. She is a National Team, as well as teaches technique classes. She has also choreographed for many solos for our team dancers with styles such as musical theater and jazz. Her choreography has also been recognized as a National Champion. She is engaged to Jake and resides in Bridgetown.
LOGAN PANGALLO– Logan has been teaching and choreographing for the national team for Revere for over 5 year. She previously taught in Lexington, KY, while she was attending the University of Kentucky, earning her BS in Physical Therapy, and her Masters from the University of Cincinnati. Logan herself is a national champion tapper! Ms. Logan works as a PTA at Mayfield Spine Institute. Logan has traveled to New York and Chicago to train with Randy Skinner, Jason Samuel-Smith, Lady Di Walker, amongst others. She is married to Grant Pangallo and they reside in Newport with their son, Beckham and daughter, Sutton.
CORINNE GILARDI- Ms. Corinne teaches a variety of ages in Ballet, Jazz and Tap. She was a part of our first All Star team here at Revere and has also trained in other studios in the Cincinnati area. She attended Miami University where she received her degree in Dietetics. She is a Registered Dietitian and works for the Tri-Health Heart Institute. She is also a nutrition coach and strives to help women with their nutrition and body image to reach full self confidence. Ms. Corinne also manages most of our emails and questions regarding our technique and non-competition team classes.
EMILY HUNTER- Ms. Emily iis teaching our combo classes, jazz, and pom. She graduated with her BSN in Nursing from Wright State University and works for Children's Hospital. She was previously part of our National Team and was a member of Wright State's dance team. She resides in Bridgetown.
Jillian Tharrington- Ms. Jilly grew up at Revere and was a multi national champion member of our All Star team. She attended Oak Hills High School and now is attending the University of Cincinnati. She teacher our 2-9 year old Ballet, Jazz and Tap classes.
Sofia (Fifi) Rothwell- Ms. Fifi was also a member of Revere's multi-national champion dance team. She has taught for her grandmother's studio, also, Madonna's School of Dance, in Dayton, OH. She currently attends the University of Cincinnati. She teaches Ballet, tap and HIp Hop, as well as assists with our WOW and DOTs programs.
LISA GERARD – Core Building, Strengthening the core mentally, physically and spiritually through exercises for Conditioning, Flexibility and Balance exercises. She is a Performance and Cheer Coach, Tae Kwon Do, Tumbling and Acro Coach. Ms. Lisa is USGA certified. Ms. Lisa's students are on many of the local dance and cheerleading squads. She teaches private lessons.
Bailey Broxterman - Bailey grew up dancing at Revere, Seton Varsity Dance Team, as well as the University of Cincinnati Dance Team. She teaches private lessons for leaps and turns.
ANGELA KAHLE (Guest Teacher)- Performing credits include playing the role of Phyllis in the Broadway and 1st National Tour of 42nd Street. She also played the role of Rita in White Christmas, directed by the Tony Award winning Walter Bobbie and choreographed by the Tony Award nominated Randy Skinner. Her proudest achievement has been kicking her legs as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall and across the country for ten seasons. Angela earned a B.F.A. from Wright State. Locally, she has taught and/or choreographed for Wright State, SCPA, and The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. Angela is the resident emcee and Director for Applause Talent Presentations. In addition to teaching for Revere, she will be an adjunct professor for Wright State University for the school year. Ms. Angela resides in Nashville, TN and teaches master classes for us.
